The Tools I use:
I’ve put together a list of the tools that I use to run my business. If you’re in the process of becoming a “doer” and you want to build a niche site, these are the tools I suggest.
DreamHost has been my web hosting service for 11 years. I used them to host my photography website for years. I’ve been very pleased with their track record of customer service and uptime on my sites.
The Theme of this site is the StudioPress Workstation Pro theme. After looking around at other free themes I found StudioPress. They’re themes are run on their own genesis framework that makes setup easy. The framework works well for beginners, but also leaves all the advanced functions available in the WordPress dashboard.
ConvertKit is a bit of a secret weapon when it comes to setting up an automated mailing list. When you subscribe to the Plan email list, you’re getting timed emails that I set up in ConvertKit. It’s a super easy tool to use and I couldn’t recommend it enough. I did my research and ConvertKit is way easier to use than their competition, but with premium functionality.
A niche site can be a great way to share your passions and experiences. I’m enjoying the process, because I’ve done my research and chosen the right tools for the job.
